Cinco De Mayo Celebrated at the Beanery Bistro
Feeling an urge to pop a sombrero on your head and nibble a tostada in the sunshine? Get up off your maracas and cha-cha-cha on over to the Beanery Bistro while they celebrate Cinco de Mayo for the entire month of May. The Beanery will be offering a wide array of Mexican inspired soups, salads, sandwiches and desserts. Specialty Spanish coffees and non-alcoholic margaritas are also part of the month long celebration.
Owner of the Bistro, Jane Garibay said, "We decided to do this because our family comes from Mexican heritage so we have always been drawn to the culture and because its fun."
Her sister, owner Carol Engelmann agreed and said, "This will be fun. We are going to decorate with piņatas and Mexican blankets. Cinco de Mayo is a bright and cheerful party time and Mexico is one nation that knows how to have fun". She added, "We like to show our appreciation for all of our wonderful customers. We have such a vibrant array of people that come in that are passionate about their food and their coffee. They brighten our days and give us a reason to keep going. Doing something like this, fun and different, is something we can do to express our gratitude. We want everybody to know how happy we are to be a part of Windsor."
